  About OHI

Open Health Institute (OHI), a Russian non-governmental organization, is one of the largest NGOs in Russia founded in 2003 by a group of public health professionals.

From the early days, one of the main components of the OHI program activities has been dissemination of modern public health knowledge in Russia as well as implementation of evidence based technologies in the field of prevention of infectious and non-infectious diseases. Particular attention is devoted to health of vulnerable population groups who lack fair access to the existing health care services. Presently, the projects implemented by OHI foster development of effectively functioning healthcare system in Russia that allows every individual to fully exercise the right to appropriate healthcare.  >>
